As local business owners and active community volunteers, we feel passionately about our mountain haven and have always wanted others to share in its enchanting charm. When we discovered this nine-acre working farm we knew in our hearts we had found the right place to bring our dream of opening our own wedding and event venue to life.

The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill is a place where all the things we love about Asheville can be experienced by our couples. It has natural beauty, southern grace, and a unique flair yet minutes from downtown Asheville. We began the transformation and restoration of this equestrian farm into the premier venue it is today yet careful to preserve its historic legacy while weaving in beautiful aesthetics and modern conveniences into the estate. Candace Hightower & Mingle Events

Hey Y’all! It is so nice to meet you! My name is Candace and I am a true southern girl at heart. Over ten years ago I felt a calling to be a wedding planner out of a strong desire to infuse life’s biggest moments with southern grace and hospitality. Thanks to my family’s loving support (not to mention my type-A personality), I turned my knack for meticulous organization, event design, and planning into a career that’s both my profession and my passion. Since launching Mingle Events and Vintage Rentals, I have had the privilege of helping over 200 couples bring their wedding dreams to life, not only at Honeysuckle Hill but across WNC. Whether assisting my couples throughout their entire wedding planning process or surprising a Groom with a 1955 vintage Bel Air to a from his newlywed wife, my mission is to always deliver the perfect day that brides and grooms deserve. Mingle’s planning is included in our all-inclusive packages at Honeysuckle Hill or can be added to all of our basic venue packages...either way...we want to celebrate with you!
